Sam Cosmi issues playful warning to new teammate Stefon Diggs

Washington Commanders offensive lineman Sam Cosmi issued a playful warning regarding new teammate Stefon Diggs during training camp. When asked about his first impressions of the veteran wide receiver, Cosmi praised Diggs' athletic ability, calling him a "heck of a ballplayer," but jokingly added, “I wouldn’t let him date my sister.”

Cosmi's remark was a reference to a viral video from Diggs' time with the Minnesota Vikings nearly a decade ago, in which teammates identified him as the person they would least want dating their sisters.

On the field, Diggs has begun integrating with the team, participating in drills and working to build chemistry with quarterback Jayden Daniels. Diggs joins the Commanders following a season with the New England Patriots.
