Seattle quarterback Sam Darnold, returning from a glute injury, threw for 379 yards and four touchdowns but also recorded two interceptions, including a pick-six. Rookie Jadarian Price also lost a fumble. Washington’s victory was bolstered by Marcus Mariota, who started in place of the injured Jayden Daniels and threw three touchdown passes.

Defensively, Washington cornerback Amik Robertson emerged as a standout performer, recording four passes defensed and forcing a fumble. The Commanders' defense limited Seattle's ability to capitalize on offensive yardage through ball security and key takeaways.
