Sam Hafertepe Jr. wins Montana Roundup at Electric City Speedway

Sam Hafertepe Jr. secured his first National Tour win at Electric City Speedway during the 30th Montana Roundup. The Sunnyvale, Texas racer won the 30-lap feature, marking his 93rd career victory with the American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) National Tour.

Hafertepe maintained his championship lead by winning both the Heat race and the Dash to start the feature from the pole position. After an early lead, he managed his line through lapped traffic, eventually finding success on the cushion of the three-tenths-mile track to extend his lead over runner-up Matt Covington. The win serves as a significant boost in his pursuit of a seventh championship.
