Sam Houston wins two matches at UTA Tournament

Sam Houston secured two victories during the UTA Tournament in Arlington, Texas. In their match against Kent State, the Bearkats won in straight sets, 3-0 (12-25, 19-25, 19-25). Kent State's Vanessa Imoh led her team with nine kills, while Christina Vigil recorded 24 assists.

Sam Houston also defeated UT Arlington in a five-set match, winning 3-2 (25-18, 24-26, 23-25, 25-15, 15-11). Despite the Mavericks rallying to win the second and third sets, Sam Houston ultimately secured the victory. During the match, UT Arlington's Samantha Glenn recorded her 1,000th career dig.
