Sam Lammers faces injury delays at PSV as Wout Weghorst thrives at Twente

PSV Eindhoven manager Peter Bosz has expressed disappointment regarding the slow recovery of striker Sam Lammers. Lammers, who transferred from FC Twente last summer, has yet to make his debut for PSV due to ongoing injury issues. The club is currently facing a shortage of fit forwards, with only Mikkel Bro Hansen fully available while Pepi, Lammers, and Alassane Pléa remain sidelined.

In contrast, FC Twente technical director Erik ten Hag has praised the impact of Wout Weghorst. After a difficult start to the season following his move from Ajax, the 34-year-old striker has become a fan favorite in Enschede. Ten Hag noted that Weghorst’s passion and work ethic have made him an example for the rest of the squad, helping the team develop greater self-awareness and tactical cohesion.
