Sam Lammers nears PSV Eindhoven transfer after successful medical

Sam Lammers is expected to complete a transfer from FC Twente to PSV Eindhoven following a successful medical examination. The 29-year-old striker had previously faced speculation regarding his fitness due to a recent injury, but reports indicate he passed the medical without issues.

PSV and FC Twente had already reached an agreement on the transfer terms. While FC Twente initially sought approximately 3.5 million euros, the final transfer fee is reported to be around 2 million euros. Lammers, a former product of the PSV youth academy, is expected to sign a multi-year contract with the Eindhoven-based club.

The move follows a period of uncertainty at FC Twente, where Lammers had recently been relegated to a third-choice striker role.
