Sam Levinson signs exclusivity deal with Amazon MGM Studios

Sam Levinson, the creator of the HBO series ‘Euphoria’, has signed a general television deal with Amazon MGM Studios. Under the agreement, Levinson will exclusively develop and create new series for Prime Video.

The deal includes Levinson’s production company, Tiny Goat Productions, which he co-founded with his partner Ashley Levinson. Ashley Levinson will participate in the agreement as an executive producer. This move marks the end of Levinson’s long-standing partnership with HBO, which previously hosted his major works including ‘Euphoria’, ‘The Idol’, and the film ‘The Magician of Lies’.

While specific upcoming projects have not yet been announced, the agreement follows the conclusion of the third and final season of ‘Euphoria’. Peter Friedlander, head of global television at Amazon MGM Studios, described Levinson as one of the most bold and original voices in television today.
