Sam Masters signs with Oxford Cheetahs and Landshut Devils

Australian speedway rider Sam Masters has secured his future for the 2027 season by signing with two different clubs. In the UK's Cab Direct Championship, Masters has extended his contract with the Oxford Cheetahs. The 35-year-old, who was recently named the club's rider of the year, cited logistical convenience and a strong relationship with the club as primary reasons for staying.

Simultaneously, Masters will be moving from the Polish club Start Gniezno to join the German team Trans MF Landshut Devils for the 2027 season. Masters expressed enthusiasm for the Landshut track and the team's potential mix of experienced riders and young German talent. Landshut club president Gerald Simbeck described the acquisition of the experienced leader as a significant transfer for the team.
