Sam Pyne escapes injury in vehicle accident near Tumu
Sam Pyne, a former Chief Executive of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly and a candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) First Vice Chairmanship, narrowly escaped injury following a vehicle accident near Tumu in the Upper West Region.
The crash occurred near Hain, between Jirapa and Tumu, while Pyne was on a nationwide campaign tour. The driver reportedly lost control while navigating a sharp bend, causing the vehicle to skid off the road and into a wooded, swampy area.
All occupants of the vehicle escaped without injury. The campaign team received assistance from NPP Upper West Regional Executives, who helped extricate the vehicle from the marshy terrain. Despite damage to the vehicle, including blown tires, the team continued their scheduled engagements in the region.
