Sam Smith releases My Guy duet with Jacob Lusk

Sam Smith has released a new version of the song “My Guy” featuring American gospel and soul singer Jacob Lusk. The duet, released on October 30, 2026, builds upon the original track found on Smith’s August album, Hazel Eyes.

The collaboration originated during Smith’s residency at the London Coliseum, where the two performers first shared the stage. This new version includes a studio recording where Lusk performs the second verse and joins Smith for lines during the bridge. An official live video documenting their performance at the London Coliseum was also released alongside the track.

The production credits for the single include Sam Smith, David Odlum, and Simon Aldred, with additional production by Feist. The song is characterized by slow-burning rhythms and shimmering guitar tones.
