Sam Smith visits taquería in Mexico City

British singer Sam Smith visited Taquería Orinoco in the Roma neighborhood of Mexico City while in the country for concerts at the Auditorio Nacional. Using a secondary social media profile known as ‘Ham Smith’, the artist shared his culinary experiences in both Mexico City and Guadalajara.

During the visit to the taquería, Smith expressed fascination with the large ‘trompo’ of al pastor meat, comparing its appearance to an elephant's foot. He sampled various tacos and experimented with the establishment's selection of salsas, noting the intense heat of the spices. Smith described the meal as being among the best tacos he has ever eaten, highlighting the combination of textures and flavors.
