Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks to host ITV2 series on male self-improvement

Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks will host a new three-part documentary series titled ‘Sam & Pete: Dying To Look Good’, scheduled to air on ITV2 and ITVX in 2027. Produced by Crackit TV, the series explores the growing and increasingly extreme trends within the male health and beauty industry.

The duo will investigate various phenomena, including ‘looksmaxxing’—an online practice focused on maximizing physical attractiveness—as well as ‘t-maxxing’ (testosterone boosting), bodybuilding, and biohacking. The series will also cover anti-aging efforts, cryotherapy, and cosmetic procedures as men pursue physical perfection and eternal youth.

As part of the series, Thompson and Wicks are expected to witness life-changing transformations and personally test some of the latest trends to understand the realities of these grooming and wellness regimes.
