Sam Woods heads to Stanford University following athletic success

Sam Woods, daughter of professional golfer Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren, has transitioned into a new academic and athletic chapter. After competing for The Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, where she helped both her track and football teams secure state championships in 2025, she has graduated from high school.

Woods has chosen to attend Stanford University to study psychology and biology, following a similar academic path to her father. While she was introduced to golf as an infant, Tiger Woods noted in 2024 that she initially developed a negative sentiment toward the sport due to its impact on their family time, leading the pair to focus on building a relationship outside of the game.
