The slogans aim to expand the scope of the party’s existing ‘PDA’ formula, which stands for Backward Classes, Dalits, and Minorities, by specifically targeting the Brahmin and Kewat (Nishad) communities. This move is viewed by analysts as a strategic attempt to consolidate various caste equations ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

SP MP Awadhesh Prasad commented on the posters, stating that public trust in Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s government has eroded across various sectors, including farmers, youth, and traders. Prasad asserted that the electorate is looking toward Akhilesh Yadav and the PDA formula to restore a welfare state. He also addressed recent Congress party posters regarding seat sharing in the INDIA alliance, noting that seat distribution will be decided by senior leaders based on winning potential rather than fixed numbers.
