Samajwadi Party leaders visit family of murdered singer Ankit Baliyan

Following the murder of popular Haryanvi singer Ankit Baliyan in Shamli, Samajwadi Party (SP) leaders Ikra Hasan and Nahid Hasan visited the victim's family to offer condolences and support.

During the visit, MP Ikra Hasan facilitated a phone call between the grieving family and SP National President Akhilesh Yadav. Yadav expressed deep sorrow and pledged that the party would strive to secure justice at all levels. He criticized the current state of law and order in Uttar Pradesh, claiming it has failed significantly.

Akhilesh Yadav previously noted on social media that the brutal killing, involving 18 rounds of gunfire, has caused widespread fear and anger within the Jat community. The Samajwadi Party has vowed to raise the issue from the legislative assembly to public demonstrations.
