Samanda Alves secures endorsement from Apodi councilor Júnior Souza

Samanda Alves, a pre‑candidate of the Workers' Party (PT) for the Brazilian Senate, received a public endorsement from Júnior Souza, a veteran councilor of Apodi with ten municipal terms. The meeting, held in Apodi, also brought in former councilor Aurindo Gurgel and PT councilor Jailson Ferreira, signaling an expanded political base for Samanda in the western region of Rio Grande do Norte. Alves highlighted the support as strengthening the effort to amplify the state's voice in the federal Senate.
