Samanda de Lula challenges Styvenson over R$ 4 million in funds

Samanda de Lula, a PT candidate for the Senate and state president of the Workers' Party, has publicly challenged Senator Styvenson Valentim regarding R$ 4 million in funds directed to state deputy Luiz Eduardo Bento da Silva.

The confrontation follows the Federal Police's ‘Operação Sem Lastro’, which resulted in the seizure of over R$ 1.5 million in cash. Samanda questioned whether Styvenson would demand the return of the funds from his political ally, Luiz Eduardo, following the investigation. While Samanda suggested the seized cash might be linked to illegal campaign financing, these specific accusations have not been confirmed by the Federal Police.
