Samantha Irvin addresses WWE departure and contract allegations
Former WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin has addressed allegations regarding her departure from the company, denying claims that she breached her contract or spoke negatively about the organization. Responding to social media comments, Irvin stated, “Didn’t breach, didn’t talk trash, didn’t want to do the above.”
Irvin also clarified that she declined a record deal offered by WWE prior to her exit, explaining that she had no interest in pursuing a music career. She noted that her primary professional goal within the wrestling industry was to transition into managing wrestlers.
Irvin joined WWE in 2021 and became a prominent figure on both SmackDown and Monday Night RAW, including performing duties at WrestleMania 40. Her departure was subject to a reported two-year non-compete clause, which is expected to expire in late 2026. While speculation has linked her to potential moves to other promotions like AEW, Irvin has maintained her focus on her preferred wrestling roles.
