Samara Karoo Reserve announces 2026 safari adventure offerings

Samara Karoo Reserve, located within 67,000 acres of restored wilderness in South Africa’s Eastern Cape, is highlighting several wilderness adventure experiences for the 2026 safari season. To mark the season, the reserve is offering a ‘Stay 3, Pay 2’ promotion across all its lodges for travel through September 30, 2026.

Key offerings include the Cheetah Trail, a four-day slackpacking adventure involving guided wilderness walks and cheetah tracking. Other experiences include ‘Fly Camping’ in Big Five territory, which features remote wilderness camps and traditional South African braais, and the ‘Star Bed’ experience, which allows guests to sleep on a raised platform overlooking the Milk River under the night sky.
