Samarate hosts Sarà Pink event to support cancer research

The fifth edition of the ‘Sarà Pink torna a Samarate’ event is scheduled for Sunday, September 20, at Parco di Villa Montevecchio. Established in memory of Sara Gemo, the initiative combines sports, music, and solidarity to support oncological research and promote cancer prevention.

Organized by Sarà Pink ODV, the event provides financial support to projects led by the Fondazione Humanitas per la Ricerca ETS and CAOS – Centro Ascolto Operate al Seno, which is linked to the Breast Unit of ASST Sette Laghi. Paolo Bossi, an oncologist at IRCCS Istituto Clinico Humanitas, noted that the event serves as a way for the community to provide concrete support for research and the future of patient care.
