Samastipur RPF seizes 75 liters of liquor from AC First Class coach

Railway Protection Force (RPF) officials seized approximately 75 liters of liquor from the AC First Class coach of the Swatantrata Senani Express at Samastipur railway station. The train was traveling from New Delhi to Jaynagar.

Acting on a tip-off, security teams searched the H1 coach and discovered the alcohol concealed within two suitcases belonging to a young woman. The seized items included various brands such as Blenders Pride, Paper Teacher, and Red 6900.

Two individuals, identified as Neha and Ishan, were arrested during the operation. Ishan is reported to be a resident of Haryana. The suspects have been handed over to the Government Railway Police (GRP) and subsequently sent to jail. Authorities are currently investigating whether the pair is part of a larger smuggling network operating despite the ongoing prohibition laws in Bihar.
