Comedian and YouTuber Samay Raina was honored by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis during a cyber-safety awareness event in Mumbai. Held at the Sahyadri Guest House, the event marked the launch of new Maharashtra Cyber initiatives, including a short film addressing ‘digital arrest’ scams and the official ‘1930 Maharashtra Cyber Anthem.’

During his felicitation, Raina used humor to reference his previous legal interactions with Maharashtra Cyber regarding his YouTube show, ‘India’s Got Latent.’ He joked about the agency’s effectiveness and noted that he has saved the cyber helpline number, 1930, because he frequently receives calls from it.

Other prominent figures recognized for their contributions to the awareness campaign included singer Sunidhi Chauhan and actors Pankaj Tripathi, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sharad Kelkar, Sonali Bendre, and Javed Jaffrey.
