Samba da Volta and Samba de Caboclo to perform at Circo Voador

The Samba da Volta and Samba de Caboclo groups are scheduled to perform at Circo Voador in Lapa, Rio de Janeiro, on September 5. The event marks the fifth anniversary of the Samba da Volta project, which began in 2021 as a street-based musical gathering and was recently recognized by O Globo as one of the city’s best samba circles.

Samba de Caboclo brings a cultural and spiritual dimension to the event, blending traditional samba with terreiro chants to celebrate Afro-Brazilian ancestry through percussion and dance. The evening will also feature musical selections by DJ Léo Black.
