Samba school Tradição cancels 2027 tribute to Nicole Bahls

The samba school Grêmio Recreativo Escola de Samba Tradição has announced it will no longer feature influencer Nicole Bahls as the theme for its 2027 Carnival parade in Rio de Janeiro.

The school stated that the decision stems from a scheduling incompatibility. While the initial project was intended to recognize Bahls's charisma and popular appeal, new commitments assumed by the influencer cannot be reconciled with the school's established timeline and planning requirements.

Tradição emphasized that the decision was made respectfully and following constant dialogue with Bahls and her team. The organization noted it will soon announce a new theme for the 2027 festivities.
