Sambenedettese adds defender Camigliano and hires former pro Loviso as Primavera coach

Sambenedettese confirmed the permanent signing of 27‑year‑old defender Agostino Camigliano from Potenza Calcio. Camigliano, a Lombardy native who began his career at his hometown club, has previously played for several Serie B and Serie C teams, accumulating 77 appearances in the second tier and 176 matches in the third tier. Potenza noted his 32 appearances for them in Serie C, the Coppa Italia and playoffs.

The club also announced that former professional midfielder Massimo Loviso will take charge of the Sambenedettese Primavera squad. Loviso enjoyed a career with more than 300 matches across Serie A, B and C, playing for clubs such as Bologna, Torino and Sambenedettese itself. He will now lead the youth side, aiming to develop young players and strengthen the club’s academy.

Both moves reflect Sambenedettese’s strategy to reinforce the first‑team roster while investing in its youth development program.
