Samduo launches ultra‑thin LFP home battery series in Europe

Chinese energy‑storage manufacturer Samduo introduced its own brand of residential lithium‑iron‑phosphate (LFP) battery systems for the European market. At a launch event in Amsterdam the company unveiled three models – the Nex E6000, Nex E6000H and Nex P2800 Pro – all equipped with integrated inverter, battery‑management system and the Samduo Intelligence software platform.

The flagship Nex E6000 is marketed as the thinnest AC‑coupled home battery on the market at 11.9 cm thick, offering 6 kWh of usable capacity, bidirectional charge/discharge power of 2.6 kW, and an optional expansion to 90 kWh through up to 15 stacked units. It carries a Red Dot Design Award, IP65 protection and a ten‑year warranty. The Nex E6000H provides the same specifications in a compact 23‑liter form factor, while the Nex P2800 Pro targets existing photovoltaic installations with a 2.73 kWh base capacity, expandability to 16.41 kWh, and a 3.6 kW solar input.

Samduo’s software optimises charging based on dynamic grid tariffs, weather forecasts and household consumption, and connects via Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, LAN and RS485, with an open API for third‑party integration. Pricing is set at €1,999 per unit, with commercial availability in Europe slated for the third quarter of 2026, initially targeting the Netherlands, Germany and France, where recent reductions in feed‑in tariffs make on‑site storage attractive.
