Sameh Hussein returns home after health crisis

Egyptian actor Sameh Hussein has returned home following a sudden health crisis that required hospitalization and a period in intensive care. The actor had been in Port Said for performances of his new play, ‘Box El Aila’, when he experienced severe fatigue and high fever.

After returning to Cairo with his wife, screenwriter Wessam Hamed, medical examinations revealed imbalances in vital functions. This necessitated an urgent, though described by doctors as simple, surgical intervention. Following the procedure, Hussein experienced unexpected complications that required him to spend approximately one week in the intensive care unit.

Dr. Ashraf Zaki, head of the Acting Professions Syndicate, confirmed that the actor had passed the danger stage and his condition had stabilized. Hussein expressed his gratitude to his fans and supporters via Instagram, noting that the outpouring of prayers and support helped him through the difficult period.
