Samet Agdeve to Defend ONE Heavyweight Kickboxing Title in Bangkok Rematch

Turkish 22‑year‑old Samet Agdeve, the inaugural ONE Heavyweight Kickboxing World Champion, will defend his title against Roman Kryklia at The Inner Circle 19 on June 19. The bout takes place at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Agdeve entered the ring unbeaten at 18‑0 with 12 knockouts after winning the title in November by ending Kryklia’s seven‑year unbeaten streak via unanimous decision.

Ahead of the fight, Agdeve said Kryklia’s familiarity with his power does not affect his preparation, stating, “What he knows or expects is his concern, not mine.” He also reiterated the personal significance of the championship, noting he dedicates his success to his mother, whose early battle with cancer shaped his resilience and discipline.

Kryklia, a Ukrainian fighter, has called for a rematch and aims to regain the title, but Agdeve remains focused on delivering a decisive performance in the second encounter.
