Sametaro mascot to appear at Tourism EXPO Japan 2026

The rugby team Shimizu Kensetsu Koto Blue Sharks has announced that its official mascot, Sametaro, will appear at the Sonic Flow booth during Tourism EXPO Japan 2026. The event will take place at Tokyo Big Sight on September 26 and 27, 2026.

Visitors to the Sonic Flow booth (Y-10) can participate in a campaign to receive limited-edition original collaboration keychains by following the official social media accounts of either Sonic Flow or the Blue Sharks, or by posting photos from the booth with a designated hashtag. Sametaro is scheduled to appear from 11:00 to 15:00 on both days.

The booth will also feature live performances, including dynamic calligraphy by Tomoko Kuzugami and traditional shamisen music and dance by geisha from Mukojima.
