Sami Landri shines on Canada’s Drag Race All Stars and Montreal Pride

Acadian drag queen Sami Landri, the first New Brunswick finalist of Canada’s Drag Race, returned for the inaugural season of Canada’s Drag Race All Stars. Invited directly by the producers, she competed with seven other past contestants in a six‑episode series on Crave that began on 9 July. In the fourth episode, Landri placed in the top three after delivering a comedic performance as a drag‑queen prime minister seeking election, showcasing her humor and personality‑driven style.

Between filming, Landri performed at Fierté Montréal’s “Sami et ses ami·e·s” show on 4 August, sharing the stage with fellow drag artists Charlie Morin, Chiquita Mére, Eboni La’Belle, Paolo Perfeccion and Soraï. The event highlighted her “trash‑chic” aesthetic and her commitment to bringing drag to regional communities, reinforcing her role as a prominent figure in Canada’s drag scene.
