Sami Zayn questions WrestleMania main event narrative

WWE wrestler Sami Zayn has expressed skepticism regarding the common industry narrative that main-eventing WrestleMania is a lifelong dream for professional wrestlers. During an interview on ‘Insight’ with Chris Van Vliet, Zayn suggested that the emphasis on this specific milestone has only become a prominent talking point within the last decade.

Zayn argued that children aspiring to enter the profession typically do not think in terms of commercial success or specific high-profile matches. Instead, he stated that young wrestlers simply want to perform in the ring and evoke the same reactions as their idols. While acknowledging he cannot speak for the personal ambitions of all performers, he described the idea of a lifelong pursuit of a WrestleMania main event as being ‘BS a little bit’.

In addition to these comments, Zayn recently continued his reign as Undisputed WWE Champion following a title defense on Monday Night RAW against Je’Von Evans.
