Samir Geagea expresses support for Saudi Arabia after airport attacks

Samir Geagea, leader of the Lebanese Forces party, issued a statement expressing full support for Saudi Arabia following attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and other locations within the Kingdom. Geagea described Saudi Arabia as a symbol of moderation that has consistently supported other Arab nations during crises.

Addressing the conflict in Yemen, Geagea criticized the Houthi movement, stating they initiated a coup against the legitimate government of President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi. He noted that despite Saudi Arabia’s efforts to reach a solution with the Houthis in 2023, the group continues to target civilian, economic, and human infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. Geagea concluded by offering condolences to the victims and their families and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
