Samjin Pharm selected for World Class Plus Project R&D support

Samjin Pharm has been selected for the ‘2026 World Class Plus Project,’ a government initiative led by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology. This program provides a package of support, including R&D funding, export assistance, financing, and consulting, to mid-sized companies with high global growth potential.

Through this selection, Samjin Pharm will receive government R&D support for up to four years. The company was specifically recognized for its work in ‘advancing innovative new drugs’ and ‘developing formulation and antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) platform technologies.’ Key assets highlighted include the inflammation and immunology therapeutic candidate ‘SJN314’ and its ADC platform, both noted for their high potential for commercialization and early revenue generation.

Currently, Samjin Pharm maintains 16 new drug pipelines and invests approximately 12% of its revenue into R&D. The company aims to expand its global presence by increasing technology exports and transfers through collaborations with international pharmaceutical firms.
