Columbia High School snaps 101-game football losing streak
Columbia High School in Huntsville, Alabama, snapped a 101-game losing streak with a 41-14 victory over Greensboro. This win marks the Eagles' first victory since October 16, 2015.
Led by head coach Sammie Coates, a former NFL wide receiver and Auburn standout, the team overcame an early 14-0 deficit. Running back Christian Richey played a pivotal role, recording three rushing touchdowns in the first half and finishing the game with over 200 rushing yards.
The 101-game skid spanned ten winless seasons. While Columbia's streak has ended, Red Lake High School in Minnesota continues to hold the nation's longest active losing streak at 150 games.
