Samokov hosts European Aesthetic Group Gymnastics Championship

Samokov, Bulgaria, will host the seventh European Aesthetic Group Gymnastics Championship from October 14 to 18 at the Samelion Sports Complex. The event will feature approximately 1,500 gymnasts representing 23 different countries.

The five-day program includes the second edition of the Samelion Cup, starting October 14 with 42 teams, followed by competitions involving 114 teams on October 15. The Academic Cup finals are scheduled for October 16. The championship itself will culminate over the weekend, with 49 teams competing for European titles following an opening ceremony on Saturday.

Expected attendees include Lilia Morozova, President of the International Federation of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics, along with local officials and representatives from various sports organizations.
