Samordna opptak employees report toxic work culture

Employees at Samordna opptak have issued a formal warning to the Ministry of Education regarding a toxic workplace culture and a broken environment. Since the department was moved to the Directorate for Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir) in 2022, 14 out of 28 employees have resigned.

In a six-page report, current and former staff describe high work pressure, fear of reprisals, and a lack of trust in leadership. The warning characterizes the situation as a cry for help, noting that the environment is causing both mental and physical illness among staff. The Ministry of Education is treating the matter as particularly serious and has requested that HK-dir conduct an external mapping of the work environment, culture, and cooperation.
