Samos: Search operation launched for man missing after falling from boat

A search and rescue operation is underway in the maritime area east-northeast of Samos following reports that a 50-year-old man fell from a private leisure boat into the sea.

The operation is being coordinated by the Hellenic Search and Rescue Coordination Center. The Hellenic Coast Guard has deployed a patrol vessel to the site, with two additional patrol boats dispatched to reinforce the search efforts. Weather conditions in the area are reported to be favorable, which is expected to assist in the search for the missing individual.
