Samothrace promotes tourism through music events and photography

Samothrace is preparing for a boost in international music event tourism through two upcoming events: ‘After Earth’ and ‘Mystic Sound Gathering’. Organized by Magnetik IKE, these events are expected to attract visitors from approximately 40 countries. The organizers emphasize that these gatherings will stimulate the local economy, benefiting sectors such as transportation, accommodation, catering, and retail.

In addition to these musical events, the island’s natural landscape is being promoted through a photography exhibition titled ‘Samothrace – Stone and Light’ by Andreas Selisios. The exhibition, a collaboration between the ‘The Victory of Samothrace’ Cultural Association and the management of Dimokritos Airport, will be hosted in the exhibition space of Alexandroupoli’s Dimokritos Airport starting August 21. The collection focuses on the rugged, less-visited southeastern side of the island, showcasing its cliffs, mountains, and sea to international travelers.
