Sampdoria celebrates 80 years of history with fan events and tributes

Sampdoria is celebrating its 80th anniversary with various events and tributes. Fans gathered at the Molo di Quinto al Mare for festivities featuring food stands, historical jerseys from the Museo Samp Doria, and live music. The club also organized a celebration at the Porto Antico in Genoa, which included a display of 450 drones over the Aquarium.

Former captain Fabio Quagliarella shared a personal video message honoring the club, stating that certain jerseys, like Sampdoria’s, stay with a player forever. The anniversary marks the legacy of the club founded on August 12, 1946, highlighting its history in Italian and European football.
