Sampdoria defeats Parma 2-0 in pre-season friendly

Sampdoria concluded their pre-season preparations with a 2-0 victory against Parma in the Trofeo “Doppio Malto” held at the Ennio Tardini Stadium. Oliver Abildgaard was a standout performer, assisting both goals: a strike in the 5th minute and a cross for Tobias Lauritsen to double the lead.

Following the match, Parma manager Bernardo Corradi praised his team's solidity and clinical counter-attacks, noting that the upcoming Coppa Italia match against Cremonese on August 17 will be the true test for the squad.

Parma midfielder Adrian Bernabé also spoke after the game, addressing his physical condition following surgery and his upcoming contract expiration.
