Sampdoria extends goalkeeper Andrey Krastev's contract until 2030

Italian Serie A club Sampdoria announced that young Bulgarian goalkeeper Andrey Krastev has signed a new contract running until 30 June 2030. The 2008‑born player, who joined Sampdoria from Neftochimic in September 2024, progressed through the club’s U‑17 and Primavera teams and is now listed among the first‑team goalkeepers.

Director of sport Americo Branco said the renewal is a “significant sign of trust” in Krastev’s abilities and reflects the club’s strategy of investing in academy talent. Academy head Christian Puggioni added that the deal underscores Sampdoria’s commitment to developing its youth prospects.
