Sampdoria: Matteo Manfredi reportedly barred from club discussions and stadium visits

Reports indicate that the separation agreement between former Sampdoria president Matteo Manfredi and investor Joseph Tey includes restrictive clauses. According to reports from Secolo XIX, Manfredi is prohibited from speaking publicly about the club following his resignation on April 24.

Additionally, the agreement reportedly prevents Manfredi from attending matches at the Luigi Ferraris stadium. These measures were allegedly intended by the Singaporean investor to distance Manfredi from the club's corporate life and prevent his name from being associated with the organization.

While the transfer of shares held by Manfredi in the Luxembourg-based holding company Gestio Capital Structuring & Investment to Joseph Tey was officially communicated to football authorities and creditors, some aspects of the transition remain under scrutiny. Specifically, there are questions regarding whether all terms were met, including the appointment of an advisor to oversee the sale of the club, which was due by July 1.
