Sampdoria prepares for Avellino match amid injury updates

Sampdoria manager Bernardo Corradi has provided an update on his squad ahead of the upcoming match against Avellino at the Stadio Partenio. Following a break for international duty, Corradi reported that 16 outfield players have participated in training without restrictions, including players previously considered long-term injured such as Ravanelli, Depaoli, and Makoumbou.

Corradi confirmed that Karamoh and Mbabu are available for selection after following personalized training programs. He noted that Karamoh has reached an acceptable level of fitness to potentially start the match.

Former Sampdoria defender Moreno Mannini expressed cautious optimism regarding the team's direction under Corradi, noting that while the club's recent struggles are a concern, the current tactical approach shows potential for a playoff push. Mannini highlighted Begic and Esposito as key players capable of providing leadership for the squad.
