Sampdoria seeks first season victory amid injury recovery

Sampdoria is preparing for an upcoming away match against Mantova as they seek their first victory of the season. Following a draw and two losses in their initial official outings, the team under Bernardo Corradi is looking to improve their standing in the league.

Injury concerns have significantly impacted the squad's depth this season. However, there is optimism regarding the potential return of striker Tobias Lauritsen and defender Luca Ravanelli, both of whom may be available for selection on the bench. Additionally, the physical condition of Swiss defender Kevin Mbabu is being monitored, with a potential first call-up possible depending on his performance in final training sessions.
