Sampdoria shows signs of tactical improvement under Luca D’Angelo

Sampdoria is showing signs of increased tactical organization and defensive solidity following the appointment of new manager Luca D’Angelo. Despite a late equalizer against Südtirol in Bolzano, observers noted a more compact team structure and improved game management compared to previous outings.

Former player Enrico Nicolini praised the team's progress, stating that the squad appeared more solid and less prone to conceding goals. Nicolini specifically endorsed D’Angelo, noting his experience and the tangible impact of his coaching approach on the team's balance.

The club faces upcoming logistical challenges and squad depth issues as they prepare for an away match against Ascoli. Following a long journey from Alto Adige to Liguria, the team must now travel over 600 kilometers to Marche. The squad is also managing personnel changes, including the loss of Depaoli and the physical fatigue of players like Ferrari.
