Sampdoria completes signings of Luca Ravanelli and Tobias Lauritsen

Sampdoria announced the permanent acquisition of defender Luca Ravanelli from Monza. The 27‑year‑old centre‑back, who helped four clubs achieve promotion to Serie A, signed a contract for the upcoming season and expressed his excitement about the club’s stadium and supporters.

The club also secured Norwegian striker Tobias Lauritsen on a deal until 30 June 2029. Lauritsen arrives after three prolific seasons with Sparta Rotterdam, bringing aerial strength and goal‑scoring instinct, and said he is eager to score many goals for Sampdoria.

In a separate development, Sampdoria’s negotiation for Greek left‑back Charalampos Lykogiannis fell apart because the player’s wage expectations did not match the club’s budget, ending the potential transfer.
