Sampdoria signs youth striker Pistone as Fiorentina eyes Bonucci for Primavera

Sampdoria has secured 14‑year‑old forward Giovanni Pistone on his first professional contract, tying him to the club until 2029. The striker posted 16 goals in 20 Under‑17 matches this season, finishing joint top scorer in his group, and also scored four times in ten appearances for the Primavera side.

Fiorentina, meanwhile, is evaluating former Italy defender Leonardo Bonucci and former midfielder Daniele Buzzegoli as candidates to coach its Primavera team. The club’s new sporting director Fabio Paratici aims to strengthen the youth pipeline, and the decision on a Primavera head coach is expected in the coming weeks.
