Sampdoria wins friendly 6-0 as Lauritsen scores hat-trick

Sampdoria’s first team secured a 6-0 victory in a friendly match against their Primavera squad during a training session in Bogliasco. Tobias Lauritsen led the scoring with a hat-trick, while Lorenzo Insigne converted a penalty.

The squad, assembled by CEO Jesper Fredberg and Sporting Director Americo Branco, features a high concentration of international players. Out of 18 players born before 2003, only three—Tobias Lauritsen, Luca Ravanelli, and Manuel Cicconi—have never been called up to a national team at any level. Other notable international representatives include Sinani (Luxembourg), Begic (Slovenia), and Krastev (Bulgaria).
