Samsun adopts ARDBİS infrastructure management software

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality has implemented the Infrastructure License Inspection Information System (ARDBİS), a software developed by Ordu Yazılım A. Ş. (ORYAZ), a subsidiary of the Ordu Metropolitan Municipality.

ARDBİS is designed to centralize the coordination of excavation and infrastructure works conducted by metropolitan, provincial, and district municipalities, as well as utility providers such as water, electricity, natural gas, internet, and cable TV companies. The system enables online management of infrastructure licenses and inspection processes, contributes to the creation of digital infrastructure maps for cities, and prevents repetitive excavations.

Key features of the software include the ability to manage roadworks through the system and the automatic calculation of technical infrastructure and right-of-way fees. Following training sessions conducted by ORYAZ R&D engineers between September 28 and 30, the system officially went into operation in Samsun on October 1. ARDBİS is already in use by the Ordu and Erzurum Metropolitan Municipalities.
