Erdoğan inaugurates Samsun City Hospital and meets with youth

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan visited Samsun to officially inaugurate the Samsun City Hospital and participate in a youth meeting at the PETEK Youth Center. The new hospital is a major healthcare investment, spanning 234,000 square meters and featuring 1,458 beds, 230 intensive care beds, and 40 operating rooms. Built with 1,027 earthquake isolators, the facility is designed to serve as a regional health hub.

During his address to young people, Erdoğan emphasized the importance of youth in the nation's future and discussed policies aimed at increasing their role in politics and public administration. He also addressed regional security, noting that the government has worked to keep the country safe amidst surrounding conflicts and crises. Additionally, Erdoğan commented on the defense industry, noting that MKE-produced revolvers were gifted to leaders during a NATO summit to showcase Turkey's domestic manufacturing capabilities.
